Program Overview

According to the University of Denver:

The Master of Science in Legal Administration (MSLA) degree, which is a blend of business and law, offers flexibility for traditional and non-traditional students. Since 1972, the Master of Science in Legal Administration has educated students on the management and operations of law firms, courts and legal organizations. The MSLA degree, which is offered online as well as on campus, provides students with the business knowledge and skills to run a law firm, court, or legal organization, both nationally and internationally. The program attracts students from diverse backgrounds who have varying interests: some are working professionals, while others are students interested in entering the field of legal administration.

Admission requirements According to the University of Denver, to be eligible for admission to the Master of Legal Studies program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Official transcripts
  • Official LSAT, GRE or GMAT scores (unless the applicant holds an advanced degree or has more than five years of professional work experience)
  • Personal essay
  • Non-refundable application fee
  • Prospective international students are required to complete the TOEFL or IELTS
